Meet Colewell Automation

The best things in life rarely come easy, but that’s when we humans come up with the best solutions.

To achieve the impossible requires us to listen and be honest with one another, explore and expand our collective knowledge, and keep our integrity. Especially when no one is looking.

Our work affects more than just the bottom line. It affects our people, our community, our midwestern region of the United States, and the world at large. We design robotic systems that set our customers up for success long into the future, allowing them to make life better for humans everywhere.

At Colewell Automation, people come first. And when we all work together, we can do anything.

As a FANUC and Lincoln Authorized Robotic/Systems Integrator, the Colewell team brings passion, curiosity, and determination to provide turn-key and custom automation systems, robot programming, production improvement, and fast, personal customer service to manufacturers across the Midwest and beyond.

Keeping Operations Close to Home

So We Can Grow Together

Reshoring is becoming more popular among North American manufacturers. If the pandemic taught us anything, it was the many advantages of keeping operations on American soil. Some of those include minimizing supply chain friction, creating more stability, improving quality and consistency, and reducing production costs overall.

As a result of this trend and the technological upgrades required, the U.S. manufacturing industry is strengthening again and starting to attract new generations that are bringing new skills and perspectives to the plate. As the industry transitions, robotic automation ensures that U.S. manufacturers remain globally competitive.

Steven Coleman

Cofounder and Director of Sales & Tech

Steven is obsessed with making sure our customers get exactly what they need to maximize the profitability and efficiency of their manufacturing operations–automated or not, and regardless of who developed them to begin with.

Steven has had his hands on robotic systems since 2006 and was a mechanic before that. He’s seen every scenario dozens of times and can fix anything. Tap into his depth of knowledge and expertise to evaluate your operations and determine what it will take for you to hit your productivity targets.
